CONVET – ECVET for recognition of qualifications in construction sector

The main objective of the project is the development and testing of an European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training (ECVET) and to improve the mobility of workers in the the construction sector by engaging them to create innovative content and structure of a web application with built-in qualifications comparison tool based on the transferred cascade training methodology and PALS tools.
The results of the project
The main result of the project will be a web-based application containing a module that is used to compare existing qualifications with the content of ECVET training. Moreover, in the framework of the project reports and dissemination materials will be developed. Soft outcomes of the project will be: the knowledge of ECVET, the ability to analyze training programs, better offer of training institutions, which will positively impact the mobility of workers in the construction sector and increase the number of workers legally taking up employment in member countries.
Workers in the construction sector, in particular people working on concrete constructions, hydraulics, together with those dealing with maintenance and repair of buildings and their energy efficiency improvement.
